A bit stiff, so when I walk the bend at the toes sort of rubs. I hope to walk this out. I look forward to having ankle support for uneven surfaces. They don't have as thick a sole as many other hiking boots, so they won't keep me out of mud and wet as much. Hopefully good enough for the amount and type of hiking I do.
