“I bought these for our daughter who is taking them to the Artic (Svalbard) to do some climatology research on a glacier. She will be on very slippery and uneven terrain and it will be wet and cold. It looks like these will do the trick. She is breaking them in now since blisters on a 4 hour hike in the middle of nowhere are no fun. They seem a little large but may still work with layers of socks.”
