“Good Midweight Boot”

“Excellent boot for intermediate hikes. Like other AKU boots, these are well suited for what they are made for. Not quite as heavy duty as the Utah Lite or Micro, but more supportive than most midweight boots. As midweight boots go this offers better construction and better materials than most. The workmanship is top notch. The boot offers lots of toe wiggle room and extra length so you don't have to lace them extra tight when walking downhill. I would recommend this boot for someone who is new to hiking as it's comfortable and light with good support and will work well for a broad range of hikes and should last a long time. I would recommend it for anyone for day hikes or backpacking with lighter loads.”
