“I tried on three pairs of boots before I found these. I must have small ankles because this was the only pair that adequately gripped them. They are very roomy in the toebox, which seems to be an advantage, although I thought they were large until I tried them out on an incline. I am a day hiker, no pack, on weekends and vacations.”
