Every time I wear these boots I'm more pleased with them. Excellent traction on snowpacked trails and loose dirt trails. I've used them for scrambling up ridges in snow and hikes on snowpacked, almost icy trails, and am always surprised at how comfortable and supportive they are, and how good the traction is. A friend of mine liked his so much that he ordered a second pair. I'm starting to wish I would have also ordered another pair. I've now bought 4 different models of AKU's for myself as well as pairs for my son and my daughter. AKU's are excellent boots.

This is my first-time shopping in STP,a dulcet course. The boots are great quality for this price,i think the boots have a small flaw ,it is no enough width of sole for asian.i like "made in italy" due to quality,i like "made in china"due to combo that price and capability.

These boots were purchased five years ago and used for a couple of day hikes in the Grand Canyon. They then sat in my closet (in near perfect condition) until today when I decided to climb a rocky and somewhat technical peak that required more than trail runners. Less than half way up a 3300 ft climb both soles completely delaminated. Fortunately the judicious use of duct tape allowed me to descend safely. Purchase at your own risk.

Though they are referred to as Lite they are quite heavy duty. I hike every day through woods and some tall grass. These really are water proof.

This is one of the most comfortable boots right out of the box that I've ever worn. I own several Italian boots, but none are as well made or as comfortable. These were advertised as made in Italy, but the boot has "Made in Romania" stamped in it,which I guess is neither here nor there. My only concern is will the boot become too soft after breaking it in and not provide enough support. Right now it provides enough support for heavy loads and harsh terrain. If it maintains it's support, it will prove to be the best all around boot I own. Good for just about anything except the extremes. I'm inclined to think it will prove to be an excellent boot. The workmanship is certainly fantastic.

Great high quality boot. I expect to get many years of everyday use out of these boots. My pair feel as if they were sized for heavy socks - which I think is great. These are a very high quality Italian boot - no 3rd world or Chinese junk!
