“I don't know why they call these boots "lite" because they are very strong and durable. Mine have peaked Whitney and trekked in Peru and everywhere in between. I LOVE the asymmetrical tongue design AKU uses on these boots. I am difficult to fit with boots and these have been a life saver for me! AKU seems to have phased out their AKU USA products so you may have to buy from Europe for your next pair.”
