Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This 6 wt rod handles very well with the Rio Windcutter 6/7/8 for rivers and the Rio Outbound 8 wt for salt water. Excellent rod action with nominal hand actions for underhanded spey or traditional spey casting. Good tip strength for performing the snap T, circle cast, snake roll, etc. Sensitive on the take and good strength to fight the smaller steelheads, salmon, and sea trout.
