Really interesting fabric. Well-made. Fits well. However, it's really aimed at the high-end club scene which I don't do much of these days. So, I plan to return it.

Wow! The amount of detail in this shirt is amazing. The pattern matched on all folds in the shirt. This takes extra fabric and extra time to make it perfect. The fabric was wonderful and while I laughed that they called it extraordinary in the label, I had to agree! Oh and my husband looks fantastic in it, too!

The Alexander Julian shirts are of outstanding quality. Note that they are Italian cotton but made in Hong Kong. Some of the shirts have very unusual patterns ( not always fully discernible in the online pictures) that some men might find outlandish. I didn't find the overall cut of the shirts to be really fitted or slim, except for the sleves, which seem to be fairly tight. Stick to plaids and stripes and you will be highly pleased: STP's prices for these shirts are an incredible buy[...]

These Alexander Julian shirts are very unique and great for those times when I want to stand out in a crowd. Most of the styles are too loud and brash for work, unless you work in something like the entertainment industry. They are great quality fabric and workmanship, which makes their loud colors a stand out instead of just loud and tacky, which would be a danger in a lesser quality shirt. I like these shirts for play time, when the great price at STP makes them an affordable indulgence. Honestly, just putting one on can brighten my mood, and that of those around me. I keep hoping STP will get more of these in.

The shirt was advertised,and labeled, as a '2X BIG'. "BIG' indicates the body would be cut a good 3-4" bigger through the middle than a 'regular' 2X(which should be a fairly big cut as well). It should easily & comfortably fit any man with a waist of 50" or under-I'm a bit under. It was not cut that way, despite being labeled a 'BIG' 2X by the maker. It was more like a slightly tapered 2X. A pity because it SEEMED like a fine shirt otherwise; not being able to actually wear it, I can only say 'seemed'.

definately quality and value. personally, the only negative would be the multicolored thread used around the button holes. adds a spec of colors from the rainbow others might like. wish it wasn't dryclean only

Love the shirt. Could use ironing, but for the casual feel, nothing needed. Great shirt.

Beautiful shirt fits well and looks terrific.

The plaid linen version nears perfection. Cut is a perfect medium for me, with good athletic nether narrowing allowing a tailored tail-out option. Oozes quality, and the selection of distribution of the oversized plaid pattern could't be better. What a buy!
