I was looking for a 3 pin boot to go with my Fischer Outbound skis. I have skied for many years and especially enjoy the Backcountry.I have a pair of Garmont Exucursions which are great for steeper terrain but I wanted something for touring ungroomed trails in rolling terrain. They are slightly bigger than I thought they would be- I have a narrow foot. I put a pair of superfeet insoles in them and wear a heavier ski sock. This made them fit well. There are some really nice boots out there for alot more money but they seem to come mostly in men's sizes. I think these will work well for my needs at a good price!

I was so excited to find a pair of leather three pin boots. Alas, they are too narrow for my feet, otherwise, appear to be a well made boot. I had to send them back.

I was in the market for a stiffer XC boot. I wanted to find something that would perform when I ski a little more aggressively. Should do the trick just fine.

these boots are great for mellow touring & hangin out in comfort & warmth. like the sole, rubber sides protect leather from cable scuff, glued on-no stitches for water to soak through. heel pocket too high, had heel movment, easy fix with another foot bed or back half under original one if you dont room in the toes. tongue could use more padding & that would help hold the heel down.

The boots are beautiful and great quality all leather. They were a little stiff at first but have softened up with use. These fit so much better than my previous ski boots!

great boot, great fit (though it is european sizing, so runs just slightly smaller than US sizing). While it will improve with more breaking in, the boots were surprisingly flexible and trail ready right out of the box. My first 'new' boots, replacing my original boots purchased in 1980! so the bar was pretty high!

These boots are working very well for three members of the family. There is a bit of expected break-in time necessary which we do find concerning. After the first 3 consecutive days of skiing there were very few complaints. Even with mild discomfort on day two for one pair, everybody was quite content on the last day.

No padding under foot & hard, inflexible material within shoe make these very uncomfortable, especially at the ankle bone, even just to stand in them.

I normally wear a 7 1/2 or 8 shoe. I bought an 8 and it fits perfect with room enough for my winter athletic insoles and a medium heavy cushion ski sock. The toe box is rounded and roomy enough for my toes to stay warm. The boots are solid and provide enough stability and support for deeper snow, although I would use gaiters to keep the snow from getting in around the ankles. The boots are flexible enough to get a good kick on the straight away and I can use them to help with edge on turns. The boots felt best after wearing them a few hours and they softened up some after use. I would like them to be a bit softer yet. I use them on hilly and flat groomed and non-groomed park and backcountry trails, or just out the back door.
