Best Hiking Boot EVER!

I just received my Alico New Guide Mountaineering Hiking Boots! And I am ecstatic! I have worn a lot of different Hiking boots and none even come close to these boots. Some may consider them overkill for hiking, yet I enjoy the support they give my feet in any situation. With these boots I never have to wonder where my feet are or how they will react to the terrain.
I have been searching for these boots for several years. This is my 3rd pair in 30 years. I bought my first pair in Greece in 1980. They lasted for about 6 years with little care. I had no idea they would be so difficult to replace, but I had to hike for a year with inferior boots, until I found them again in Germany in 1987. The second pair I took much better care of. I have had them re-build 4 times while trying to locate another source. The cobber told on the 4th rebuild that they would not last much longer. Though they are in bad shape, I am still wearing them (23 years), and I do mean wearing them pretty much all the time (aside from at work). So needless to say I was very happy to find them at Sierra Trading Post.
Now my only question is why are they being "closed out"? If you want a boot that supports your feet and ankles under any condition as well as aiding you in being sure footed – this is that boot. 30 years – by choice I would wear no other boot.
