These are heavy mountaineering boots best worn on over 1 week expeditions.They are tanks and will take forever to wear in so go slow with that.They are heavy but that is what you want,get used to it and tuffen up!They become light as a feather once your body acclimates to them and they can be re-soled:}Double stitch welts for security and THICK mm. leather for thorns rocks and longevity of the boot.Great look as well and zero friction interior.Great buy so far.
