Great boots!

I use these boots for work, walking gas lines through deep woods and mountainous areas in Central PA. I got these boots after my 120lb puppy chewed up my brand new Sasslongs.... [...] The Alico Summits not only look fantastic, they fit great, feel great, and they seem like they will last forever! ( provided a certain giant pup stays away ). They really arent THAT heavy, not enough to whine about... And that only gives them more support. These boots are ALL leather! No space-man looking reflector shiny fashion plastic parts. These are old school. It took about a week of about 5 miles a day to get beyond the fear of blisters. I rubbed Mink oil on them twice, following manufacturer's instructions, just to soften them up a little. I bought my own insoles and just put them in taking nothing out. That made them fit like a glove, and the bottom of my feet thank me also... I feel like I'll have these for 10+ years, and I'm happy to own them. I would recommend them to ANYONE.. They are durable, comfortable, they look great on the trail, and cleaned up, they look great as casual footwear as well. Great work on these boots!
