Boots will be used in backcountry backpacking trips; 3 to 8 day duration. Carry a 45 lb pack in Rocky Mountains and Coastal Rainforests.
These boots are old-school heavy-duty and have extremely good ankle support. Long break-in period is offset by their soft leather lining, which molds to your foot like butter (eventually!) and leather lining lasts forever.
  • Best Uses: Backcountry, Heavy backpacking, Long distance hikes, Wet Weather
  • Cons: Heavy, Long Break-in Period
  • Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer
  • Pros: Bomb-proof, Can be re-soled, Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable, Water Resistant
  • Sizing: Feels true to size
  • Width: Feels true to width
