Boots for a decade or more

I haven't had these long enough to put the mileage on them, but they sure look like they will perform for a long time. I added some superfeet green insoles to personalize the fit, but I could have made do with them out of the box. I am in the break-in phase now, so no day-long hikes yet, but have had no trouble with fit or comfort so far. They are stiff, as they are supposed to be to give support standing and walking on large riverbed cobbles or talus. The soles are the tried and true vibram that is fantastic outdoors bur carries in gravel and mud if walking from outdoors to indoors a lot. These are the kind of boots that, if properly conditioned and cared for, will last through a couple of re-solings or more.
