Classic Leather Boot

Juts finished trying on 3 different sized Summit boots, and wondering if other users have noticed if the Summit stretches a bit over time? If I'm wearing a liner sock and heavy wool, the 10.5-Wide fits very nice; and the 11-Medium has slight heel slippage. Any advice is appreciated on possible leather stretching.

For me the size is true at 10.5 but with a Wide width. My initial reaction is good -- leather is nice quality; overall weight and flex is appropriate for a mid-weight boot; and they give me a bounce during my 'living room' hike. It's been decades since I've had a true Vibram stiched sole. Outdoor hikes and time will provide more proof on the overall quality. Previous boots include a Garmont (heavy-duty glue on) and Vasque Sundowner. And while in Como, Italy 8 years ago I did succumb to the macho vision of tackling some heavy-duty backpacking, and purchased a 'New Guide' style boot at a local market. They are still in the box and will go on ebay this Spring per my bride's request.

Looking forward to trying the Summit boots in the future.
