Thought these boots would take a long time to break in. I figured it would be a month of pain and possibily blisters before I could wear them for any length of time. I was wrong. Although not fully broken in after 3 weeks, they are very comfortable to wear and I wear them almost daily for 7-8 hours. I'm looking for a better insole, but aside from that, I couldn't be happier with these boots. I'm not a major hiker, but wanted something that would last a long time and feel comfortable. The craftmanship in these boots is outstanding and I anticipate wearing them for years. These boots also look great (better than they do online) and I've already had several people ask me how they can get a pair. I highly recommend them.

Solid boots. construction is great. Honestly, I'm still breaking them in but they seem to be exactly what I needed. I had some trouble getting the size right, but STP was was VERY helpful in getting things right. My advice; always be weary of buying these kinds of boots online- do your research and try to size out in person when possible. Looking forward to having these things strapped to my feet for years to come!

It is nice to find quality Italian made hiking boots that are comfortable right out of the box and provide great support/traction. I was tired of looking at cheap Chinese made hiking boots.

I have an extremely difficult time finding boots that fit well. I'm in-between a medium and wide and have a wide toe box need. I've gone through several other pairs of boots on long treks but these fit so well. I've tried various brands in wide sizes but the toe box is always narrow enough to wear my pinkie toe or lateral foot wrong on long or steep downhill terrain. I tend to wear liners and a wool sock and these in a wide give me ample room I've never enjoyed previously. Just bought a second backup pair before these go out of stock. Leather is nice and quick break in time.

Quality old-school boots at a great price. If you spend the time to fit these, and break them in, you will be happy with this purchase. If you want out-of-the-box fit and performance, you may want to look elsewhere.

These are real leather hiking boots that fit as great as they look. Considered Danner hiking boots but I could not pass up the great prices offered by Sierra Trading Post. Nice to see a product not from [*].
