I bought this Redstart backpack to use as a hiking daypack. I'm satisfied with the size and I like the side mesh pockets as well as the "shove-it" pocket on the front panel. The zipper is very cheap and its already beginning to malfunction/split/snag after only a couple weeks of using it. The material used to make the backpack is also of poor quality and I'm concerned about it tearing. My previous daypack was a NorthFace Jester, which is superior both in terms of design and quality.
