  • Mountain Hardwear Monkey Lite Fleece Jacket - Polartec®, Thermal Pro® (For Women)

    Pros:
Attractive Design, Comfortable, Great Color, Lightweight, Versatile
    Best Uses:
    Backpacking, Daily Use, Hiking, Travel
    Describe Yourself:
    Casual Dresser
    Sizing:
    Feels true to size
    Sleeve Length:
    Feels true to length
    Was this a gift?:
    No
    Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I am 5'6" and 118lbs and the small fits perfectly. Fits well around the hips, not too clingy or tight but not too loose either. Jacket is super lightweight and packable, great for hiking or backpacking, or just for hanging out. The sleeve length is perfect for me as I hate a sleeve that is too short or rides up when you move around. Color is fantastic, I got the red and it's bright but classy.

  • Mountain Hardwear Ampato Dry.Q Elite Jacket - Waterproof (For Men)
By Wodan from King's Canyon, CA on 05/24/2012
    Pros:
    Athletic fit, Effective, Handsome
    Cons:
Buttons are cheap, Too heavy for backpacking
    Best Uses:
    Around town or car campin
    Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
I love how this jacket looks, but I got it for backpacking not for looks. My large clocked in on my postal scale at 1lb, 3oz. About a week after owning it, the button that anchors the base of the zipper fell off. That and the weight led me to return both this, and the Mountain Hardware rain pants which had the same buttons. The material that the jacket is made of seems sturdy enough, but I'm going going to trust wet, dirty velcro alone to prevent rain from getting through my zipper.
