Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anne from Utah on Wednesday, October 8, 20144 stars because this thing was well made. But I sent it back because, based on other reviews, I bought them for my kids, but they are too bulky and heavy. Definitely not an "ultra-lite" hydration pack. They are easily the size of a "normal" two liter pack, yet they only hold 50 oz of water. Seems like a waste of space to me. Might as well include a 2 liter bladder and let people fill up as much or as little as they want.
So this may be a good cheap pack for older kids or adults. But I wouldn't recommend in for anyone under 9 or so. It will just weigh the little ones down.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Run4Coffee from Spokane on Tuesday, September 2, 2014I bought this for my kids that like hiking with "plenty" of water. They don't drink the 60 plus ounces I do for half marathon training, but this worked out just great. They love it. The straps fit well and adjust to their smallish frames. I like they can store small snacks so I don't have to lug their stuff around anymore. It would have perfect five stars if the information would have stated BPA free so I didn't have to ask, and go through the computer to assure my husband we weren't poising the kids.
