An attractive casual loafer

While admittedly the website picture was accurate, I'm disappointed in the slipper-like look and feel of the shoe. The lack of true heel and the shoe's width make it feel all the more casual. On a positive note, I wear it regularly to work and have no problems.

These shoes look great, feel good and are very stylish as well. I wear them when traveling as they are easy to take on and off, and I wear them with jeans for casual events. I wear them so much that I have a 2nd pair so I don't have to worry about the first for now.

This shoe doesn't have the same build quality or comfort as the famed Allen Edmonds 360 welted Dress collection shoes. But, the Casual line costs less and is still superior fit (size/width options) and quality to other brands of a similar style.

These shoes are Allen Edmonds quality, nicely styled for business casual, even smart looking I'd say, very comfortable. Maybe could use a little more arch support, but great shows. I'll keep coming back to Allen Edmonds.

Casual and yet smart too

I ordered these and the next day left to Europe for 2 weeks. I walked where Napoleon and other greats walked. I was on my feet for 10 hours a day and have no complaints. Watch the sizing though; they run a bit large. If you want the best in American causal luxury, and are of an upper class pedigree, then feel free to add these to your collection. If you want to appear to be as previously described, buy these shoes and educate yourself.

When it comes to shoes, I have settled on a handful -- Finn Comfort, Mephisto, Johnson and Murphy, and Allen-Edmonds. When this shoe came on sale, I could not resist the price or the type of shoe (slip on). The shoe is simple in design. It is light weight (and it packs up easily and takes little room - a plus when traveling). I wore it in South Africa recently at a conference held there. This is a great shoe and a great value. I wore it all day without problems. The rubber sole gives the shoe good traction and support. Highly recommended. With Allen-Edmonds, you are getting one of the best shoe values around. This shoe is worth the price -- and more.

I wear the shoes to work and in the evenings to social events with a coat and tie or a pair of shorts.
