    It's hard to find narrow shoes. Most makers including Cole Haan and Johnston & Murphy don't make narrow any more. Allen Emonds is the best because they offer everything from AAA to EEE.

    Looks are deceiving, most of the time when you think of "dress shoes" you think it to be stiff and uncomfortable. Well that was before, these shoes are so comfortable right out of the box!!     If you've never owned a pair of Allen Edmonds, you owe it to yourself to do so. I've mostly been wearing them for the past 20 years. The quality is unsurpassed and this shoe is no exception. Yes, it took me 2 miles around a few blocks to break them in and they are a little heavy. But they are no heavier than an average pair of oxford wing tips. They polish very well and have a sturdy feel. You can't go wrong!

    These were my first pair of Allen-Edmonds, which I purchased in 2003. I have worn them regularly for the past four years. They still polish to look new. The Hillcrest has a double sole on it, which makes it less comfortable than most Allen-Edmonds shoes because they are so much heavier. They are still comfortable shoes. They break in well over time and are extremely durable.
