Allen-Edmonds Keene Loafers (For Men)

I have dozens of pairs of Allen Edmonds shoes all of which have fitted perfectly but these were a full size smaller than the stated size and they had none in the larger sizes for exchange.[...]

I bought these shoes for my husband. His other Allen-Edmonds shoes are all 10D so I bought the same size for him. They were extremely tight overall and I wouldn't be able to guess if they were a half or full size too small in this particular style. They didn't have a larger size available for exchange. These are stunningly beautiful, classy shoes. If you can get an appropriate fit, you will be pleased as they are the customary Allen-Edmonds quality.

I purchased a half size too large at the recommendation of the website. I'm not certain I should have done that as they feel a bit too loose. They are also a little narrow which may be why buyers are instructed to go up 1/2 size. I have not yet worn them other than to try them on. However, decent black casual shoes are harder to come by than brown or tan shoes, so I'm certain I'll keep them. The price was also very reasonable for the quality.

The shoe seemed a tad short, but that may be just because it's a loafer and needs to fit a little more snugger than shoe that has laces on it, which can then be tightened to keep the shoe on the foot properly.

These have a funky, knobby rubber sole on the fore foot of the shoe. Not sure they all all that much grip, but makes them appear a little more contemporary than if they had a traditional leather sole. All in all, an excellent shoe and one that I highly recommend. Already receiving compliments.

Wear without socks. Great product from a great manufacturer.

A FINE PAIR OF SHOES

I have 10 pairs of Allen-Edmonds shoes. these do not compare . Length and width OK. Too full in arch. I wore these shoes one time and they looked a month old.
