    This is about my tenth pair of Allen-Edmonds shoes. They fit beautifully and wear very well. While they may cost more than most shoes, the quality more than makes up for the difference. My shoeshine guy in the lobby of my building loves them and he sees a lot of shoes.

    My reason for buying these was I needed some nice shoes for my business job and I wanted to buy MADE IN THE USA shoes. I am happy to support U.S. companies and shoes made here. However, the lacing system in these is poor and leaves the shoe feeling loose; laces come undone also while wearing.

    These shoes follow the current Italian style of being elongated and somewhat pointy. In size 14 this styling looks a little like clown shoes. The web pictures did not reflect this. If I had seen them in person, I would not have purchased them.

    I first ordered this shoe in an 8 D and it was way too large causing my heal to slip up and down when walking. So I returned them and got a size 7 E which felt right except it still slipped in the heel so I ended up returning them also. I really liked the shoe but it just was never comfortable.
