Allen-Edmonds Milford Loafers - Calfskin (For Men)

I purchased the 10.5 D for work, based on a very similar AE shoe that I've worn for a year, in the same size, named "Steen". Both shoes have the same sole and appear to have been built on the same last. There are only minor differences in the detailing/styling of the uppers. They fit the same, so in effect, I'm reviewing both shoes. I've been amazed at how comfortable both pairs are, as they don't have a thick rubber sole for cushioning. Also, they both wear extremely well. The Steen's show no signs of their frequent use over the last year. My shoe trees probably help this, but every other brand of shoe I have tried always creases across the top of the shoe after a few wearings. Both shoes require a shoe horn to get into, so airport security might be a little inconvenient. The upside is that they fit like lace ups and don't slip while walking. Bottom Line: Another great shoe from the only company I will buy a dress shoe from.

If you've ever had the pleasure of putting on a well-tailored suit, then you'll get that feeling again with this brand of shoes. Slip-ons from don't normally fit me, but this shoe is a perfect fit.
