“Well made shoe-poor design”

“This shoe is constructed with quality leather inside and out. The sole and heel are made of good quality material and give good traction. The insole is good. The design fails however in that the elastic fabric on either side of the shoe makes the shoe feel looser than a sloppy loafer and gives no real support to the arch or instep. For a lace up shoe this is not acceptable. The elastic material will only get looser with time and will degrade quicker than the leather.”
