    I was skeptical about using these, but I bought a pair and they've worked very well. They provide good compression and keep debris out. I've bought a second pair as backups and figure they can do double duty as a bottle cozy. Not bad insulation qualities. For the price you can't lose.

    I do a lot of wet wading durig the summer months. I have a pair of gravel guards but they don't go up high enough to prevent those 'dings' against the shins. OUCH! These will do the trick.
