I use my waders a few days a week fishing the Pacific Coast from kayak. Most do not last long do to wear and tear on the seat and upper legs - where the paddle rests. These waders are reinforced w/heavier fabric at those exact areas. The front zipper has good length and works well - great for layering and quick access if needed for long days on the water (use your imagination). Buy a little bigger if you have a larger upper body(I returned a large) because the waders seem a little short/narrow in the upperbody in proportion to the leg length. Needs a gusseted crotch for mobility/comfort. Othewise excellent, I was able to move around enough to land 2 Thresher Sharks and a 100lb. Black Sea Bass on the first few trips.

I'm 6'3" 190 and have never had luck finding waders that actually fit, it seems that if you are over 6ft with a size 12 or larger shoe they assume you must be around 230-250lbs. The large fits me perfectly with the right amount of room for layering for those long days in cold trout streams.

Around $200 with a zipper. Good deal. Used for a week in Chile'. Easy on and off. Sturdy. True to size but if you like to wear heavy multiple layers on the top order one size larger. If these last I will buy this brand and model again. Very happy with these waders.

I bought these as backups but quickly moved them to the starting position. I then returned a pair of Chota waders that were bought for the same reason but had never been worn. These are very comfortable and I'm 6'4" 290lbs!

I am a medium build (5'9" 160 lbs, size 9 foot) and purchased the Medium wader. I am happy with the sizing in the upper portions of the wader and the feet but I am quite dissatisfied with the fit in the lower wader. (the wader is "true to size"...except the lower leg...frustrating!) The fit in the lower leg portion of the wader is too slim in its cylindrical cross section. While this may have been purposely designed to avoid too much free fabric (which typically results in snags and tears decreasing the life of the wader) it is simply too tight. It affects layering options in cold weather and leg movement while bending down to scoop up that lunker you just netted. The crotch should have better engineering, especially in light of the lower leg fabric shortage. A gussetted crotch would add seams (that need taping and increase the cost of manufacture) but it would also be a whole lot easier to bend down on one knee (tie boots, scoop up huge fish out of our nets etc). It is also a bit difficult to get my feet out of the neoprene stocking because of the narrowness of the low leg fabric. FRUSTRATING! I spent a whole week up on the Muskegon and Manistee Rivers in Michigan recently and was impressed with the breathability of the fabric. I stayed dry as a bone every day, I loved having the zippered pockets on my chest, the neoprene stockings were thick and warm in winter water, and am overall satisfied with my purchase. I will be frustrated by the lower leg fit and crotch for as long as I own the wader, and based on how well they are built...that will be a long long time.
