I've been on a Sierra buying spree lately and this was the last item I tried on from a pile of great shoes and tops all of which were keepers. Sadly this jacket didn't work for me or either of my teen daughters. We're small (I'm 95 pounds) so I thought this would be great based on the reviews, but the fit is just bad. The sleeves are very very long so if you want to use the thumbholes you have to scrunch the sleeves way up and if you do this the shoulders have a lot of extra fabric which stands up in funny points like when you've hung a sweater on a hanger. if you look closely at the picture you can almost see the effect I'm describing, although they have stretched the jacket taut to minimize it. It worked best on my tallest flattest chested daughter but still had the weird shoulders and super long sleeves. Aside from that it's just not very special and not flattering enough to keep probably even if the fit had been better. I had a discount which brought the price down to $28 and even at that deep discount this is going back. I'm thinking the jacket might work for someone who has a long torso, very broad chest and shoulders but is not very busty. The pockets snap closed which is nice. If it fit and you needed a lightweight black cotton jacket which you intend to wear only over a sleeveless top and you got an extra discount, then this jacket might be good for you :)!
Wonderful fabric - soft but substantial.
As the other reviewers stated, it does fit small - I ordered up a size but it's still small, esp in the sleeves and below the waist. Can't layer it over anything but a very thin layer even with the larger size. Nonetheless, it's very comfortable and sylish.

I really enjoy the material and the feel of this jacket, but the arms are super tight. You will not be able to wear anything underneath of it if you get the correct size. Additonally I am small chested and fit it just fine, but you were larger than normal it will not zip up.
