    I like these boots even for staying in the tracks or breaking new trail with good ankle support. A lot of people comment on the support. I have to usually tighten up after about 1/2 hour. Don't know why but it's not a huge problem.

    I bought them in December 2007 and have logged about 110 miles in mountains, state parks, forest and on tracks. They have served me well. They still seem to be as solid as new. They are very supportive and stable, but not good for walking, so if you are looking for something that you can use to hike up the mountain then ski down, they may not be the best.
