These fit very large, maybe 1-2 euro sizes, to the point that I trip over them. Wore to work so cannot return, will end up donating to thrift store.

I think it was because it comes in 35/36 and I am a 36/37. I thought they would fit because it was suggested to order one size smaller. My toes got squashed.

I have other Birkenstock shoes and they fit fine. But I think they are women's. I'm not sending them back because it's expensive and I'm lazy. I'll have to make do with some kind of inserts or something. I've never been disappointed with Birks before but, sadly, I am, with these. I wanted a pair with backs to them, for work, because all the work ones I have are clogs and I don't like wearing them when there's a few inches of snow. I guess I'll have to look for another brand or style.

The velcro strap is actually nice because it helps to secure the shoe (the straps regular Birkenstock are not that good for keeping the shoes ssecure). Love them!
