ALPS Cardigan Sweater - V-Neck (For Women)

This is my second purchase of this sweater. The first I dried in a too hot drier when traveling. I love the softness and color of this sweater. It is warm and comfortable. It pills a bit, but not a problem for me. The shape is boxy but the comfort and softness outweigh the boxy shape.

Nice, warm sweater. Great for work or casual.

For some, the sleeves may be too long, I have long arms and it is perfect. The multicolored yarns certainly extend the use with many differnt colored clothing.

Very comfortable to wear. The sleeves are a tad long, but I like long. A very good "go with everything" topper.

I bought this sweater because I prefer to wear layers to the office. It goes beautifully with several turtlenecks I own. Warm without being overly heavy or bulky. The lightweight material is very soft to the touch and the color is lovely.

Good for all occasion. Wish it came in more colors.

I'm always looking for a sweater with unique yarns,colors,and classic design. They are hard to find. I will wear this one for years.

This sweater was slightly disappointing and not as nice as other Alps products. The color looks lavender from afar but up close is red, white, blue and gray swirled together. The loose knit creates a soft and cosy sweater but also makes it prone to snags and loose buttons. For a size 10 - 12 tall person who usually wears a medium, the medium was short in length and stuck out a little in the back but the sleeves were plenty long enough. It's a nice, comfy sweater that looks like it was knit personally for you by your Aunt Marge but the yarn is slightly reminincient of ground beef on a styrofoam tray and the fit is off. Call me crazy but I'm keeping it anyway and I got one for my mom too but it's not nice enough to give to her for Mother's Day. I just wish it was prettier!

The color of this sweater turned out to be a very pale lavender with tiny threads that give it a pink cast if you're near it, but it's a pretty, delicate color & interesting yarn. The shape is odd. When I lifted it out of the packaging, it was short, wide & boxy. I folded it lengthwise, put one hand on the neckline & one on the bottom edge & pulled, and it evenly lengthened and narrowed to a whole new size & shape, about 3" longer & MUCH better! I'm on the slender side, though, and I still find it more baggy/shapeless than "relaxed" in size small, which makes it strictly casual wear for me. A classic design, but not a flattering fit & it doesn't hold its shape. Even worse, there was a dropped stitch in the back that I had to fix to prevent a giant hole from developing. Glad it didn't cost much.
