This bag is exactly what I needed. I don't hike or back pack, however I do horseback ride and camp. Although, for a hiker this bag might be a bit bulky for my purposes it is fantastic. It is warm, snug and I can still pack it on my horse with no problem. For the price it is unbeatable. Great value, I am well pleased with it's performance.

I travel a lot and needed a 0 degree bag bad! It's good if you're out in the forest or sleeping on a drafty roof!

Good entry level bag for those just starting camping or for kids who need a warm sleeping bag for car camping.

Zipper can bind and be difficult to close from inside.

Overall this was a great buy. I had gone camping with my wife and 4 young boys and felt really cold when the temp had gone down only to 55 degrees, using blankets on air mattresses and the boys in their cheapo bags. We used these new sleeping bags last weekend in 45 degree weather and we were all very comfortable and warm! And for the really cheap price of under $30 (on sale)! Simply can't be beat. Yeah the zipper snags sometimes but it's a common problem for a lot of other bags, even those that cost a ton more. I would buy this again, but I've already bought 5! Buy it now!

Not a good size if you're on a long distance hike but if your camping close to your car it's fine. In Australia this would be fine for winter camping so long as your not in the Snowy mountains.

This bag kept me warm on a pretty damp, cool night. I just wish it would pack a little smaller.

SOME REVIEWS SAID THIS WAS HEAVY, COMING FROM A COLEMAN 0 TO THIS BAG SAVED ME ABOUT 7 LBS. SO I GUESS YOU COULD SAY IT IS A MIDWEIGHT BAG. NOT FEATHER LIGHT BUT I CERTAINLY FEEL LIKE IT IS A GREAT REDUCTION IN WEIGHT. NOT GOING TO HIKE IN 20 MILES, BUT COULD DEFINITELY GO 5-10. MAINLY FOR WEEKEND TRIPS OR VACATIONS. I'VE NEVER HAD A MUMMY BAG AND WAS AFRAID OF THE CLOSENESS, BUT THIS ONE WAS MORE ROMMY THAN I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE.
