She climbed into this sleeping bag in our 67F living room in her winter pajamas and was comfortable, but not hot. Time will tell whether or not this bag will really be able to keep her warm. On a negative, I thought I read some online descriptions that stated this bag had a neck collar (like the 20F ALPS sleeping bag that I have does), but the bag we received contains no such neck collar to keep the cold out of the bag.

It's very warm but there are some drawbacks. It's a bit tight for me & quite bulky. It will add some weight to my pack which has now forced me to reduce my pack's weight total for hiking. Would I recommend someone buy this pack? YES.

I hope it holds up to his very messy, somewhat irresponsible mannerisms. He is pretty tough on his stuff. His birthday is in March and I am pretty sure he will enjoy it. Can't beat the price.

If you are under 6 foot and thin it should work for you. I could not get the hood over my head as the bag was too short. It was also too tight around the shoulders and impossible to zipper as a result. If you are a small, occassional car camper looking for a warm bag this one is good. Otherwise the polyester fill makes it suprisingly bulky for a rather small bag. I would have exchanged it for the long version but since this was so bulky I'm just returning for a refund.
