ALPS Mountaineering 0°F Sleeping Bag - Alpine Lake, Long, Mummy

This is a solid, average sleeping bag which is best used for casual camping. It doesn't seem as durable or rugged as the other all-weather bags, but it's decent for the price.

I bought this sleeping bag for my teen daughter for camping and backpacking. The cover bag it came in was huge, and since the sleeping bag expands given the space, it was very bulky. My daughter was able to stuff the sleeping bag into a smaller stuff bag and it fit. I modified the cover bag that came with the sleeping bag--basically remaking it to a smaller diameter but I kept the length. The sleeping bag fits into the remade bag and takes up no more space than our other backpacking sleeping bags, it weighs maybe a bit more and is warmer.

Great bag for larger people and especially warm for camping in camper or tent. We basically do 3 season camping and this is perfect.

Good bag for the price. very comfortable on a pad around 15-20 degrees and I'm warm blooded.
