ALPS Mountaineering 20°F Sleeping Bag - Alpine Lake, Mummy

I bought two of these for my kids for family camping trips. They appear well made and pretty warm. The bag is fairly bulky and heavy so it is definitely not a backpacking bag but more for car camping. All in all an extremely good value, I think.

This bag is lightweight and easy to backpack around with. It is optimal for a shorter person (I'm 5'2"), my husband got into it and felt it was too tight at the shoulders and a bit too short. He's 6' tall. Overall a great value!

This is a fine bag for the price. It seems that the temperature rating is actually quite accurate. I particularty like hood design, which kept me especially warm. With a little extra clothng this seems to make a decent winter bag as well, at least for the area I live in.

I bought two of these sleeping bags for my kids. It packs in a small drawstring sack that has a handle. Perfect for sleep overs. They also took to camp and were very warm. They especially like the hood design. These are rated to 20 degrees and for our needs perfect.

Worked perfect but, would be great if there was something to put it in. Snags in the pack.

Bag is very solid, comfortable, basic Mummy design. The temp got down to the 50s and I woke up hot in my bag. I am 6'2" and the bag fit me fine. I like the bag and love the price.

I recently bought this bag, and got my first chance to use it. Overnight, the weather turned much colder than expected (Probably at or lower than the rated 20º), and this bag still kept me warm. THe quality surpassed what I expected for the price, and I expect that it will last a long time. The only problem I had was that the fit was a bit tight (6', average build), making it a little uncomfortable to lay on my side in a fetal position, my preferred position. This is my first mummy bag, though, so I have no frame of reference if this is normal or not. It is a bit large and heavy for backpacking, but at this price, I can't really complain.
