This bag is just as good as the other more expensive name brands.
Temperature rating off by 10-15 degrees.
I wish it included a long-term storage bag. Sleeping bags lose their loft when stored in stuff sack.
Other than that, this is an awesome bag at a excellent price.

I enjoy camping to the fullest!! But not when I'm cold. I live in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mtns. so camping is a weekend routine for myself and friends. This is a lightweight sleeping bag, easy to transport, and best of all it holds up to the low temps. Yes, the zipper was a little tricky or sticky - but a little wax eliminated this.

This is the second Alps bag I've purchased. They are a tremendous value...packed with the same features found in much more expensive bags. I purchased the medium Alps compression sack to go along with this bag and I'd say it's a necessity if you hope to get it into your backpack. On the downside, they are a little heavy and bulky, but the filling has great loft and tremendous warmth.

Doesn't pack down as small as my other Alps Mtn clearwater bag but I got it to use as an xtra or backup bag so no big deal. Really warm and seems to be well made. Roomy inside, not overly confining like some other bags I've seen.

Nice down bag - good deal for the special discounted price. Kept me warm overnight under the stars at 45 f without sweating. Comfortable and came with 2 stuff sacks, a cotton one for storage and a small nylon one for compressing and carrying. It goes with the Granite Gear pack I got here as part of my new light/ultralight backpacking setup. Much nicer than my old qualofill bag.

Temps dipped just below freezing our last night camping (but not to 20 degrees) and we were c-c-c-cold! Zipper seems to snag often. Otherwise a nice bag and stuffs down nicely. For the price, not a bad bag.

My son is using this for spring/fall camping trips in WI and also for sleepovers. We have yet to use it on a camping trip. But the sleepover use was fine. He was able to get it back into the bag for the most part.
