Pros:
Compact, Easy Set Up, Lightweight
Describe Yourself:
Casual/ Recreational
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
The plastic button/snap/clasps that hold the slatted tabletop to the frame break easily, can fall out and get lost and are hard to adjust the positioning correctly. Luckily, Alps Mountaineering is very responsive about providing replacement parts.

I bought this table from Sierra Trading Post for a very good price. I have a small A-Frame camping trailer and I use this table as a primary table when camping at rustic sites and as a secondary table when a picnic table is provided. This table has performed very well under near constant use. I am full time RVing for a couple years to see our National Parks so this table does not sit idle for long. It is EXACTLY what it claims to be, a lightweight, folding table. If you expect it to flip open with a heavy jerk and hold your weight, you bought the wrong table. I put a little WD-40 on the legs so the plastic, sliding ring does not stick and the table opens like a charm. If you leave it up when you leave camp put something heavy (a rock?) on it so it does not blow away. This table is fairly easy to set up once you have done it once. It may appear complicated but the way it fits together makes it It is too heavy for backpacking and, probably, too light for a rock 'em /sock 'em tailgate party. Other than that, this table is great. I have friends who bought two different camp tables and one broke on the first use and the other is wobbly. If you are patient (i.e. not forceful) with this table, it will give you years of service. I am back to this website to buy another one of these tables. Someone must have loved it. They stole it from my campsite as I slept.
