ALPS Mountaineering Compression Stuff Sack - Extra Large

my sleeping bag wouldn't fit in the stuff bag it came with, so I ordered this one. It works great!

the ends of this compression sack are separate pieces joined by straps with a long tube in the middle and so it is very awkward to use. I couldn't get my bag in it in 5 minutes and gave up so I am returning it.

This compression sack has found service in cinching up sleeping bags, roll-out mattresses and patio furniture pads. The stitching and composition is pretty durable.

Put sleeping bag and pad in it.

Will use it to carry my "winter" type sleeping bag on canoe trips....you never know what kind of weather to run into in No. Minn. in Sept.

I bought these compression sacks for my family's sleeping bags and clothing. I was able to fit two +40 sleeping bags in one bag and compress the bag down to approximately 18 inches. Compared to other sleeping bag sacks, this compression bag is well made and when I compressed the bag, I tugged on the straps hard and the seams did not give at all. Even though we car camp, more space is always welcomed; we don't want to add roof storage if we can avoid it.

I can fit my 0 degree sleeping bag in this no problem, it may not last forever but for the price it's worth it
