I bought this for my sleeping bag. I bought the XL because I wanted to be sure it was large enough. My sleeping bag is now packed nicely in the size L and my and my girlfriends' float tubes are now comfortably packed away in the XL.

This is a really big sack. It is presently doing domestic duty by compressing a queen sized comforter in the den

Bought this for my winter bag. Seems very well made. Have not used it yet but I am looking forward to it.

Since I do a lot of motorcycle camping, minimalist gear is easier to pack and transport. However, I enjoy the comfort of an extra-large sleeping bag. ("bag-and-a half" size.) The Alps Extra-Large compression sack allows me to reduce the volume of the sleeping bag, and the d-rings make it easy to securely attach the bag to the other luggage on my bike. I have already used this item on a 5-day tour of the 4 Corners area. I appreciate it's large capacity, ease of use, and other features. I'm sure I will get plenty of good use from this produce, and recommend it to anyone who needs to pack more gear in a smaller space.

A regular sleeping bag fits perfect with a little room to spare. The four straps tightened down the bulk to about 14". Could've compressed it even more. I also use them for packing towels and blankets so everything fits neatly into the roof rack.

I always read the reviews and I was still not sure which size to order. I have a good ol department store sleeping bag. I know I need to upgrade to warmer rated feather bag but the one I have works. I bought the large for my sleeping bag and the XL for my tent. I wish I would have bought the XL for both, but you know what---it worked. tent squishes into XL without poles and my big sleeping bag squished into the L with some effort.

These are fine - they just run a tad small so order a little bigger!
