I got this to replace a lost sleeping bag sack. My average size mummy bag fit with a little bit of effort. It compresses the bag to about half the size and seems to be good quality. Overall happy with purchase, exactly as described.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by gw from Oklahoma on Monday, June 19, 2017This stuff sack had no issue fitting my medium sized synthetic 15 degree sleeping bag. It was the perfect size for it. I would suggest a size small if using a down or compact/lighter bag, if heavier (0 or below synthetic) use a size large. The compression straps on my medium bag compacted it to fit comfortably in the bottom of my pack.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by RobRykal from Michigan on Thursday, May 25, 2017Great compression sack at a great price.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Mike from OR on Tuesday, March 21, 2017Got my synthetic 25 degree bag to compress more than the stuff sack that came with the bag. I would like to try to fit my hammock, sleeping pad, and sleeping bag all in the Alps stuff sack but it's a little small for all items.

I'm not sure. However, I do know that my synthetic-filled mummy fits in it just fine. Hopefully this helps you...at least a bit.
20L according to Alps site.
9" Diameter, 20" Length, holds 1272 in³ or 20 L
This item is 20L.
“I am wondering if the Medium will be big enough for my synthetic sleeping bag, Marmot Sorcerer at 84x32? Should I look into getting a larger size? ”
I would say buy the large. I have down bags and the medium is more than big enough. My problem with synthetics has always been getting them in the bag to start with and I just think I would go with the large sack unless you are better at stuffing them than me.
“This is sort of a cross product question: I have the alps 0 degree echo lake bag. Will it be compressible with this compression sack? Its apparent dimensions are 80x32"”
It should work great.
No this stuff sack is not waterproof.
No. I just purchased one and there was nothing that indicated it was. The sack is pretty thin and I doubt it would keep out water.
I'd say no. They are likely water resistant but they are not rubberized or canoe/kayak bags.
This size should fit your bag, but it hard to say without the dimensions. It will fit most regular mummy bags, especially down. It will compress down to about 18", it just depends how tight you pull the straps.
