I got this to replace a lost sleeping bag sack. My average size mummy bag fit with a little bit of effort. It compresses the bag to about half the size and seems to be good quality. Overall happy with purchase, exactly as described.

The medium is fairly large - I'd guess 16 liters. A "long" Slumberjack Lattitude 20 will fit and compress down nicely. Would be too large a sack for a Down bag. A small size might work in that case. Quality isn't bad, especially at a sale price.

Just got the bag, so I haven't used it, but Sierra Trading Post sent the review link, so what the heck I'll provide my initial thoughts. I kayak camp and upgraded to a better boat with less volume, so I bought the bags to squish my gear into the smaller hatches. I ordered the large and medium not knowing which I'd used. After playing around with stuffing my sleeping bag, tent and clothing, the Medium seemed to be the righ size to squish in my hatches and the nooks and crannies of a sea kayak. The large in the same company was way too large and I'm not sure you'd even find a use for it on a backpacking trip unless you'd put the whole bag inside your backpack and stuff all your gear into it before compressing. I retured the large and ordered a second medium. I agree with other posters that the deeper end-caps keep the bag from squishing even more. MIght have to see what else I can get into the bag so maximize squishable space. It it build ruggedly and I felt like I could really tork down on the straps. Not sure what I'll use the zippered pouch for, but I'm sure I'll find something to put in there, only to forget that it's in there. I will most likely put these in a waterproof dry bag before packing into my boat.
This size should fit your bag, but it hard to say without the dimensions. It will fit most regular mummy bags, especially down. It will compress down to about 18", it just depends how tight you pull the straps.
