ALPS Mountaineering Denali 5500 Backpack - Internal Frame

Awesome product at a great price.

I used this pack for a weeklong 40 miler in the Yellowstone backcountry. It packed easlily in the large top loading main compartment, but the lack of an outer access zipper made it difficult for finding things fast. The many pockets organized well & fit bulky items in the extendable collar & floating top lid. The Denali is built tough & withstood being hung & dropped from the trees. The pack rode comfy, the suspention was easy to adjust for the right fit but found it weak with loads over 55lbs which is sad for a 90 liter pack. The pack was a great price & it's features equalled packs twice the price.

Purchased this for my 5'8" son who used it on a 5 day backpacking trip carrying 50+ pounds. It came back looking like new and he said it was very comfortable.

Great pack for the price. Hike with guys who buy the expensive gear and does everything theirs does, even they were impressed. The only downside is no side loading but I knew that when I bought it.

Great comfortable pack for weekend or extended trips. Very adjustable for fit and comfort. Large capacity for a lite weight pack. Zippers a bit hard to zip but may free up a bit over time. Manufacturer's improvements in stays work great. Excellent value for the money as compared to more costly backpacks.
