Bought this same pad a few years ago and my son keeps borrowing mine. I sometimes use it in combination with an inflatable to give that extra padding for a good nights rest.Being a little older the ground gets a little harder every year and this
light weight pad gives the extra comfort for a good nights sleep and is cheaper than any I've seen in stores.

Bought this specifically to add extra cushion layer underneath by elderly dog's favorite pads/blankets. Easy to cut into two. Had to air out to get rid of smell. Does not look supportive enough for a person; doesn't roll up very compact but the elastic bands provided were a nice touch. I would only recommend this for a use similar to mine, not to a camper or serious backpacker as I think there are better products available for those uses.

Multiple purchases of this item for myself and family. Use it 12 months a year for Boy Scout and other camping, all weather, all conditions. An excellent value for the price. Not waterproof. Water resistance could be inproved with the addition of the closed cell foam used on the base or other material on the sides of the pad, but that would increase weight. Good balance of weight and function.

I took this on a three day trip to the Wind Rivers. It was very comfortable and I slept well. The only drawback is it is fragile. Tree branches etc. poke holes in the foam but did not affect performance.

Got these for car camping. About what I expected. A little slick, so you need a flat spot or it will slide on your tent floor. Very bulky - not for backpacking. Pretty comfortable - I was a little suprised. They could be a little thicker, but the dual foam does a pretty good job. I have been using them with thick (20 deg.) Kelty sleeping bags bought here also. Good combo, great price with email coupon. We also have self-inflating pads but I think these are more comfortable.

Ordered this item to put between trolling motor and boat cover to keep boat cover from being frayed by the propeller. It worked out great and will save wear and tear on bass boat cover.

It was very disappointing to receive a such a poor quality product from STP. Normally for something that is listed at $50 (not quite what I paid) you would be getting something of quality. Not so with this mat. It was thin and about the only thing that it might do is provide an "thin" insulating layer between you and the ground. No comfort whatsoever.
