Once you get the straps for the footrest and the armrests adjusted, this is a very comfy chair...I did alot of research before deciding on this one, and it did receive some negative reviews from people who complained it was difficult to get out of because the footrest straps are in the way. Still new and have not tested it over time for durability. Seems comfortable. Set up and take down is instant. Height of the foot rest is adjustable.

I frequently do tent based mountain biking trips. Nothing like being able to put your feet up after a hard long day on the trail.

Wanted a new chair for the lake, and while camping out... I actually bought it last year, with the great deal I got from Sierra (Thanks!)
Needless to say, it has performed very well to my expectations, and you won't be disappointed
A nice feature, even though I really don't use it, is that you can lower the ottoman part by un latching it (but like I said, I keep mine up at all times)

I searched everywhere to find my favorite laz-e-boy type camp chair. My old one finally broke after 10 years. This chair is comfortable and easy to collapse. Other adults wanted to sit in it around camp.

It feels comfortable and sturdy. I haven't had it for very long, so I can't speak to it's durability yet. But, it seems fine. I use it on my deck to relax at night, and it's been a comfortable chair to relax and read in.

    • Answer This is what ALPS Mountaineering has on their web site about their warranty. "ALPS Mountaineering is proud of the products we market and we work hard to make them the best we possibly can. This allows us to warrant all of our products against defects in materials or workmanship. This does not cover normal wear and tear or abuse. Here's the example we like to use, making a comparison to the auto industry, since we are all familiar with cars. If you purchase a new vehicle and the motor stops running, it will be taken care of, but tires that wear out or hoods that are dented from hitting a tree are not covered. Maybe we're too midwestern, but "common sense" really does prevail." For more follow this link. http://www.alpsmountaineering.com/alps/warranty
