    Pros:
Cup holders, Light, Quick Setup, Versatile
    Cons:
    Canvas top
    Best Uses:
    Camping, Expedition travel, Sports, Tailgating
    Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
This is a very nice lightweight table. My main focus for buying this table is ease-of-setup and holding extra items. With the canvas top, I feel it is a great accessory table for eating or holding things, but not for holding a stove or heavy items. The canvas top does not provide a hard surface for adequate food preparation or cooking a meal, but is is good for serving on. I haven't used it enough to comment on the 'stainability' of the canvas, but will be using on an 8 day adventure in Death Valley next week. Stretched out, the canvas is pretty stable, but not like the aluminum slat tables ALPS also makes. For my intended use in car camping/expedition travel, it should work great. It sets up in seconds without having to fumble with installing or unfolding a top like some of the other tables. I see myself using this table much more just because I can set it up and take it down in seconds. My other aluminum slat table takes a few minutes to set-up and take-down, so I wouldn't get it out for any quick stops, but this one will be perfect. I also like the cup holders, b/c I have spilled more than my fair share on other tables especially when the terrain is not level. Another great find at STP and a ridiculous price.

    Pros:
Cup holders, Folds up, Has four legs
    Cons:
    Canvas table top, Heavy, Unsturdy
    Best Uses:
    Sit under rain shelter
    Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Sure this has a somewhat flat top and four legs, but I'm not really even sure if this qualifies as a "table." Sure you could put paper plates on it and some Dixie cups. But not much more. It's a stretched canvas top — much like a cot — which by the way I do own an ALPS Mountaineering cot and I do like it. And other than having shorter/taller dimensions than a cot, it sure seems a lot like one. If you put down a full cast iron pot, the "table" top would probably sink and dip over time. It's not very sturdy, should you need to use the table for some even moderate chopping/pounding/whatever you might use a table for. This is truly a car camping or card table. As it's way too heavy and long/big for backpacking. So I'm not really sure what value this brings other than being good in a pinch for a portable makeshift table. It was even difficult to unfold and fold back up as one of the hinges was bent and had to be forcefully reshaped. I'm only keeping it because it's more of a hassle to go through the return process and since I got it on one of STP's great discount promo days. So with what I paid for it, I'm somewhat okay with being disappointed with this product. I'll keep it for the kids to turn it on it's side and use it as a fort or something instead...

I thought the surface of this table would be a little tighter. It probably wouldn't work to set cups, anything that could tip over easily or anything heavy on it. However, it would work fine for chips, bread, plates and a lot of other things. I love the cup holders and I think we will be using this every time we camp. Overall, I'm satisfied, especially for the price.
