I spent a long time sitting up on my deck reading in simple plastic deck chairs before deciding I wanted something more. I am generally a minimalist but this was worth every penny and should I move it will definitely come with me. Due to user-ignorance I did not realize until several months after ...

This may be a great chair, but when I took it out of the box and saw little pieces of broken plastic in the bottom of the bag, it was clear there was a problem. It appears - from the way the box was taped and re-taped - that this chair had already been returned at least once. This is unacceptable, and Sierra Trading Post can do better. With this item, however, I don't trust them to ship me a chair that is undamaged, so I chose refund over exchange. Makes one wonder why these chairs are on clearance....
There was no return shipping label in the box. Looking in boxes from a previous order last month, I found no return shipping labels in those, either. This is also unacceptable. I had to call to have a return shipping label emailed to me, and was told it might take a day to get it done. Really?? The box is already at UPS. I need a label today.
Sorry, STP - you are slipping. Is this a byproduct of being bought out by a large corporation? I certainly hope not.

In addition to relaxing at camp I also bought this product to use in my bedroom...I have allergies and there are nights when I just cannot breathe properly while laying in bed...so I wanted a chair like this I could set up in my bedroom, sit somewhat upright in to alleviate the breathing issues, while still being in a reclined position to allow me to sleep. For that purpose it is perfect. I find the lounger very comfortable. And while I know those wooden are rests are going to last a lot longer than a softer material, they do create pressure points where my arms rest on them and I occasionally put a small throw pillow under my arms to alleviate that pressure. And since this will be used at camp, it would be nice if there was a cup holder built into it like so many other camp chairs. But those are my only 2 complaints...I am going to enjoy this reclining chair for a long, long time.

So far, I can't be happier with my purchase, after a long day at work I look forward to kicking back in this bad boy on the porch and having a few cold ones. It's so comfortable I usually fall asleep when I sit down. As long as it lasts I will be happy about the amount I paid for this deluxe lounger.
