ALPS Mountaineering Lay-Z Lounger

The Easter bunny bought these for my hubby and I....we love them! Very comfortable and I am sure they will get lots of use on both the back deck and the front porch.

I spent a long time sitting up on my deck reading in simple plastic deck chairs before deciding I wanted something more. I am generally a minimalist but this was worth every penny and should I move it will definitely come with me. Due to user-ignorance I did not realize until several months after purchase that the two little levers just underneath the arm rests were actually there so you can lock the position you are sitting in to whatever you wish. I now know I can lock it in a fully upright position, fully reclined, or anything in between. This is a great feature when reading, socializing, or just taking a nap. I think I need to purchase a second one because every time I have friends over that is the first chair taken and whoever grabs it rarely gets up for fear of someone else usurping the throne. Only downside is that I choose to take it inside because I do not want to ruin the wooden handles if it rains. Definitely not suited for lightweight trips.

The delivery service is excellent. we enjoy relaxing on our chairs while entertaining friends and family.

This is a nice light weight folding lounger. The head rest pillow is not as comfortable as I would like.

A Carrying bag would be helpful

this chair is great. it's pleasing to look at & comfortable for relaxing. sturdy, so not real light to carry long distances, but stable. I am very pleased with it.

These are very sturdy chairs.

VERY large when folded. VERY heavy. Does not fully recline. Powder coating is very light and ANY contact with another chair (such as when in your trunk) WILL destroy the finish. Plastic feet break off very easily. Calling 'ALPS' to inquire resulted in being told that no touch-up paint was available, and they could have cared less about the finish issue. Very sad as I used to field test gear for ALPS in the early 90s.

Great value! Very comfortable and provides support for the back. Easy to set up and adjust for position desired. If it was a couple of pounds lighter, would be better for me (I have problems with my hands), but it still is fairly lightweight but strong.
