Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

“I agree with other reviewers that this cot is a bit hard to set up. Our other cot is a standard military design and we love it. This cot, because it does not have cross poles on the two ends sleeps like a hammock more than a cot. My wife slept on it the first time camping with it and was pretty uncomfortable. I used it last weekend and also struggled with feeling like it was closing in on the sides. It would be great for kids.”
