The quality and lightness of this tent would be expected in the $225-$300 range. It has proven itself time and time again via the reviews. If you want a light weight, spacious, three season tent, don't pass by this one as a consideration.

Great tent. Easy to set up, roomy enough for 1 person with gear.

I didn't have a problem with the tent other than it was sent with the wrong poles. They were much to large for this tent so I had to return it.

This tent was a gift that got put through trial by fire last weekend.

Okay, maybe it was more like trial by snow, rain, ice and wind...

Anyway, we carried it up ten miles of steep terrain, set it up on top of the snow covered platform and hunkered down for the rainstorm that night.

The tent not only stayed standing and kept up warm, but the rain cover spread out wide enough for both backpacks (with a little help from one pack's raincover in a corner) to be sheltered and some of our other stuff on the other side, which was great and made our space a lot warmer and drier.

This is a very nice little tent and I look forward to using it often.

The only thing that would be nice is if it packed down a little tighter, though that can be fixed pretty easily on its own.

The tent is indeed easy to set up. The first time I used it I had rain and wind and the tent did just fine but I have a couple of issues. Once you have the rain-fly on the top of the tent sags down just enough to be in your face when you sit up. When you open the vestibule door to get in/out any rain on the fly drips into the tent on the floor through the mesh door to the tent. Fortunately I had a small towel to mop up the water. I also got a steady draft from under the fly into the tent-not bad enough for a mild spring evening but this could be an issue under windy or wetter conditions. You would be hard pressed to get 2 normal sized persons into this tent but that is the norm for most tents-I always subtract 1 person from the advertised size. This will be my late spring/summer/very early fall tent on my scouting and hunting trips
