I use this pad when camping on white water river trips. It replaces a similar pad that we used one dark night when we set up our tent on a thorny weed patch. It was important to find a pad that is not so big that it would not fit into our dry bags; a larger pad would also not fit our 2-person tent. The thickness is important to comfort for an older person like me.

This pad will be used on our white water camping trips and replaces a similar pad that was punctured multiple times. A larger pad would not fit into our dry bags, nor into our 2-person tent. The thickness is important for an older person's comfort.

My only big problem with this pad was that it delaminated after 3-4 trips forming a big air filled bulge on the end closest to the valve. Otherwise a great pad and very comfortable for an old guy like me with achey shoulders.

Great for when a little extra weight and gear doesn't matter.

Had one of those before and bought another two to replace my cheap pads from department store.Good quality, brass valve but expected them to be more lightweight than those from store. But can't beat ALPS for that price.

Works wonderfully for car camping and canoeing. No good for backpacking, but that's what my Thermarest is for. Highly recommended!

Maybe I just misunderstood the measurements but this is a LARGE sleeping pad. It is comfortable and durable, but WAY too large to take backpacking. Great for car camping I guess.

I was pleasantly surprised with the build quality. Appears properly rugged. Inflating is a bit of a struggle, but not really a big issue. Comfortable. I am quite pleased.
